How to play BlockRelay
BlockRelay is a short-form route puzzle. You are a night courier on a tiny city grid, and the goal is always the same: deliver all three parcels before your energy runs out.
Core objective
- Pick one route card.
- Use arrow keys or on-screen controls to move one tile at a time.
- Step onto each parcel tile to complete that drop.
- Finish all three drops before your energy reaches zero.
How tiles work
- Depot is your starting tile.
- Parcel drops mark the three required deliveries.
- Rain tiles cost one extra energy when you enter them.
- Coffee tiles give back two energy the first time you touch them.
- Sprint lanes slide you one extra tile in the same direction if the road is open.
- Road cones block the move entirely.
How to read the result
When you finish or fail, BlockRelay gives you a summary card. Wins earn a medal based on how cleanly you finished:
- Gold means you finished with strong energy left.
- Silver means you closed the route with a little room.
- Bronze means you scraped through.
- Missed route means the shift ran out before all drops were completed.
Good first habits
- Do not burn sprint lanes just because they are there; use them to skip dead distance.
- Treat rain as a budget problem, not a visual effect.
- Use coffee boosts to rescue a route, not as an excuse to wander.
- If a run starts feeling messy, restart early and try a cleaner parcel order.
